For 2010 I am introducing 3 new auto ship programs, a kit using my CD ‘Folk Art Dreams’, Textural Package and an Inspirational Charm which will run for 12 months each.

These will be available January through February for auto ship registration. We will fill our auto ship orders first then while stocks last the balance will be available for individual purchase.

Kit of the Month using my Folk Art Dreams CD Wild Tulip Sac Size 12” x 8” Great little zippered sewing sac made from hand dyed wool and fun cotton fabrics.  Includes a flower appliqué and finished with a colorful lining, rick rack, button embellishment, dog zipper pull and hand inked label. Full instructions included as well as a really easy technique to insert a zipper. Appliqué design printed from my Folk Art Dreams CD by Electric Quilt Company. Inspirational Charm of the Month ~ Stitch Each of these hand made charms will be words of inspiration. Size – ¾” Fine silver Price - $24.00

Ribbon Embellishment Packs Wide Velvet Ribbon Pack This pack contains five 1/2 yard pieces of assorted colors. These are wonderful for embellishment on purses and appliqué blocks. Price - $9.50 Retro Ribbon Pack This pack contains seven 1/2 yard pieces of assorted colors. These are wonderful for accenting your blocks Price - $14.50

Textural Color Package of the Month ~ Cotton Candy Each month the package will include two 1/16 pieces of hand dyed textural fabric, a hank of chenille fibers for couching, a package of seagrass for stitchery, a spool of 22wt 100% silk thread, beads or buttons and ribbons. Each month will be a new colorway. These will be limited as it will depend on the availability of the embellishments. Price - $30.00

A splendid location for our retreat!  Join us in a creative journey celebrating Folk-Art and fellowship.    We are pleased to announce the theme for this year’s project is Recycle & Repurpose. Happenings during January

I have had a wonderful month catching up and planning for 2010. I have stitched, cooked, spent time with my girls and worked on mounds of paperwork. It does feel good to have my life a little more under control.

We have started shipping all our new programs for 2010. Everything seemed to go smoothly except a little hitch with a delay in not receiving all our threads for the BOM. We hope to have this sorted out by February so please be patient.

Upcoming events in February

I am working on a book for spring market as well as a new lecture ‘Travel Journals’. Later in the month I will be teaching at NEORCQ in NE Ohio.
